Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Sanad AI ("we") handles data when our services are used, including the chat assistant that restaurants and other businesses use to answer their customers on WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram, and the dashboard those businesses use.

1. Who we are

2. Our role

We provide the service on behalf of the business (for example, the restaurant) you are contacting. The business owns its relationship with its customers; we process data only to provide the service to that business.

3. Data we process

• When you message a business that uses our service: your profile name, phone number or account ID, message content, and any voice notes and images you send.
• Order or booking details: items, address, location if you share it, payment method, and a transfer receipt image if you send one.
• For the business's dashboard users: name, username and an activity log.
• Limited technical data, such as server logs, to run and protect the service.

4. How we use data

• To reply to your messages, take your order or booking, and pass it to the business.
• To calculate prices and totals from the business's own data.
• To remember basic details (name, address, last order) with the same business to make future orders easier, if the business enables this.
• To improve reply quality and review conversations with the business.

We do not sell data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not send marketing messages in our own name.

5. Service providers

• Meta (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram), to receive and send messages.
• Google (Gemini models), to process conversation text, generate replies and transcribe voice notes.
• A cloud hosting provider, to run our servers and store data.

Each provider receives only what it needs for its role.

6. Retention

We keep data for as long as the business uses the service. When the contract ends, or on a deletion request, we delete the data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.

7. Security

Connections are encrypted, and access is limited to the business concerned and the members of our team who need it to run and support the service.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data. See the data deletion page, or contact the business you messaged directly.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
